This is a fun event for corporations, small businesses, large families, skiing friends, and individuals. Challenge your friends, co-workers, rivals, or family members to an individual or team event where your time on the course is based on a handicap system taking into consideration your age, sex, and whether you are a skier or snow boarder. It is a great way to have fun, meet other skiers, increase the participants well being and general health, and to make business contacts. Enjoy some of the best skiing in the world on the beautiful mountains of New Mexico. Your entry fee will support the 2004 NCAA Champions UNM Ski Team, the only team from the state of New Mexico to ever win an NCAA Team title.

The Ultimate Ski & Snowboard Challenge is a recreational race series for all abilities hosted by major ski resorts in New Mexico. The full race series consists of four one-day events but it is possible to sign up for one, two, or three races as well. This winter the skiing events will be held in Red River, Angel Fire, Santa Fe, and Taos (click on Schedule above for further information). Participants receive half price or discounted lift tickets for the day of the event, opportunity for training days, and a free social the week after the race. Teams registering for all 4 events also receive discounted tickets to the UNM Ski Team Banquet, and opportunity to win great prices and awards.
